From corsets to cage crinolines, petticoats and parasols, learn about the many layers that ladies were wearing in the mid-nineteenth century with living historian and dressmaker, Anneliese Meck. Anneliese will discuss what it took to be fashionable, while getting dressed in a historical reproduction of an 1860s ensemble, complete with the proper undergarments, day dress, and accessories.
