BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE GENESEE COUNTRY VILLAGE & MUSEUM

Peter Wisbey, Curator of Collections at GCV&M, will present a behind-the-scenes slide presentation on how some of the most recognizable historic homes made it to the Museum located in Mumford, NY. In particular, Mr. Wisbey will talk about the Hyde House, the 1870 octagon house included in the Village. There will be incredible stories of how these historic buildings were taken apart, hauled on trucks and reassembled like puzzles.
